What is busy ?

I really don't understand why people keep mentioning the word 'busy'?
I feel that a person who is 'busy' he/she should not even have time to think about busy at all.
Very often, "busy" is just a smoke screen, an excuse to be lazy?

So friends, please avoid using this word 'busy'.
This word is so harmful that it can hinder our potential success.
This word can stop us from pushing ourselves to our limits.

There are times when i do feel the pressure due to tight schedules.
Seriously I don't feel like a human anymore.
I don't feel stress, depressed, hurt anymore.
I guess is the training and events that I've been thru so far.

My version of 'superman' is not the one that is born in planet krypton.
It is one that endured thru many many hardships, trainings and setbacks.
It is one that focus in consistent training, overcoming injuries, strong preserverence, mentally and physically strong, able to push his body to the limits.

For now it is a dream
But it will not stay forever a dream

Somebody told me that a research claims that a human heart can beat up to a maximum heat beat per life time. So by training our body, you are actually shortening your lifespan by creating extra heat beats?

Sets everyone thinking about whether to exercise or not..

In my opinion..

Do u know that everything around us involves risk?
Daily activities like walking up stairs, driving, eating etc..
There is a tendency that we may comehow get injured or even die from it ?
But why are we still doing it ?

It is good to be cautious
At the end of the day, life is great
And we want to live our life for as long as possible..

However, we only live once..
Do you want to live your life as a fat and ugly person for 100 years?
Or do you want to live your life strong and lean for 80 years?

*Of coz that is with the assumption that obesity doesn't lead to other critical illnesses such as stroke, heat attack, diabetes etc.. which it is impossible ..

So my conclusion is ..
-stop being a wuss
-start exercising
-live healthy

And if the report is really true..
I can only say there is a price for everything
You gain some and you lose some..
Learn to accept it..

Played golf with my dad this morning, First time I got a par! Not bad for a beginner like me.. Hahaa .. Alright la, getting more used to the game.. Aim to have better score in future ..

After that went to SP to jam with moude and shi jia.. I was quite amazed by the facilities in the jam room.. The room is rather big.. And basically everything a normal band required is there liaoz.. Kind of fun playing the drums and guitar..

Reach home, ate my dinner and straight away K.O until 11pm.. Well, nothing to do again..Humm.. not sleepy, not hungry.. Do what..? Study lor.. Okie, end of entry.

I'm studying A Maths..! Been around 2 years since I touch Maths.. Erm .. Kind of forgot most of the stuff, so I'm picking them up slowly.. Recollecting my memories for Maths.. Well, its not tough either, just gotta start all over again.. Sunday is the dead line.. Coz I'm giving my first A maths tuition on sunday..

RMIT sent a letter to me.. Humm.. feels good to be accepted.. (After countless rejections from NTU & NUS over the past 2 years) Anyway, SIM is most likely the place I'll end up with.. I'll just work hard in university, doesn't matter what university it is la.. Afterall, I should be just happy that I'm given a chance to study in the course I like..

Well well, 30 july .. Kind of look forward to that day.. Enrolment day.. After 2 years in the army, half a year working as an insurance agent .. I start to miss something that I used to hate .. school.. Who knows I may find my special one in SIM ..?=) I'll just leave a question mark for this topic.. I guess the most important thing right now is pass my CFP ,take up ACCA and do well in uni.. End of entry!

Alright .. Finally cut my hair.. Due to bad response from friends.. Comments saying that my previous hair style is "untidy"..! Humm.. Well at least now i can feel my head lighter.. Is that suppose to mean that I can study better too..? =) Humm.. question to ponder..? Anyway , been mugging recently.. Studying don't seem to be that interesting in JC leh..? Maybe because now its my own "hard earned" money , I tend to have more interest in the course..? Humm.. Still trying to figure out the reason behind it..

Oh yar , I received my GST off set package.. hehe .. Not bad lar.. $200 .. Came at the right moment! Tomorrow will be going Tanglin golf course to have a game with my dad.. I'm going to sleep now.. End of entry..

Alright, got a couple of updates here.. I got 2 new tuition kids.. Starting from next week.. Not bad huh? Received 2 assignments in 2 consecutive days..I guess the "fortune crystal" works? Haha! Recently start to develop interest in accountancy.. Feel tempted to take ACCA? Haa.. Well.. I can't take CFP,ACCA, Uni all 3 at the same time rite...? Humm... Dilemma .. How I wish I can turn back time.. Then I'll start CFP or ACCA while I was in army? Then I would have saved so much time !It's still not too late .. Just a bit tougher .. Still cannot decide whether to take ACCA or complete my CFP first..?

First time in my life I felt such a strong passion to study.. What caused the change in me? And such strong desire to perform..? Perhaps working outside, cold calls on streets makes me feel the need to upgrade myself.. People only listen to the most educated.. This is a sad truth.. Knowledge is truth and only the truth can convince people..? I remembered when I was in JC, my dream was to become a "wanderer" .. The concept of "freedom" ," independence" and "aimless" .. However, looking back.. I no longer crave for such a life.. I guess I've entered another stage of life.. Where I start to mature as a young adult.. Well I'm not ashame of my past dream as a "lang zi".. Afterall they contribute to what I am today.. As Mr David once said, "No point crying over spilled milk" .. Time to move on and look forward ! =)

It's 340 am .. I still cannot get into sleep .. Some question that keeps me thinking .. Am I getting into local university? When am I receiving their letter? Humm.. well well , maybe I'm worrying too much .. But I'm rather concern about my future.. Perhaps the only thing I can do now is focus on my work and CFP .. Getting lazy recently .. Have been skipping gym for the past few days .. Packing up my room , selling my old stuff on yahoo auction.. Playing guitar and singing oldies.. The pace is getting a bit slow .. But its okie .. I'll start to work after 2nd May .. Just give myself some time for the adjustment.. Oh yar.. For those who played guitar try this song .. 3 days ago .. At around 1 pm , I received a shocking call .. Erm .. I was called back for reservist .. Kind of stunning indeed.. I just ORD for less than 6 months and now I need to go back again .. From 11 june to 15 june .. Although is only 5 days but still very sianz.. coz din expect to be called back so early .. well well , looks like I'll have to cut my hair by that time ..={ But I think i might just grow my hair from now until june .. Save some money la .. Lazy to cut anyway.. I've also received the cert from FPAS .. Need to pay another $83 for the AFP certification .. Wah .. add on to my financial burden.. $83 juz to put the word AFP designation on my name card .. That is excluding the cost of making another set of name card .. Stress stress .. Hope I can strike toto next thurs.. Okie, time to sleep ...

I passed my AFP (Associate Financial Planner) .. I was quite surprised, since I thought I'm going to fail it ..Humm.. going to register for module 4 and 5 tomorrow .. Just to share with u all a bit more about the course I'm taking .. It's called the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) To get the full CFP, U need to pass 6 modules.. 1st module enable u to get AFP .. Pass modules 1,4,5 and u get AWP (Associate Wealth Planner).. Going to choing module 4 and 5 before school starts in aug.. Hopefully I can be a certified FP by end of this year ! Not cheap leh .. each module is $650 , and there are only 3 test period per year .. But it's worth it la .. Gotta work harder to support my expense ...No $$$ liaoz.. End of entry ...

Woke up at 830 am today , hit the gym .. whack until the 3rd set I already close to dying liao.. today not quite on form ah .. after that went for a swim .. 20 laps .. haha! I'm getting a bit siao on nowadays .. I guess when people are free they tend to do a lot of stuff to kill their time ? haa.. For my case I just wanna push my body to the limits la.. Target is to get a nice and tanned body by end of this year =) ! Oh yar .. Swimming also can improve skin conditions too.. For those who've seen me recently u all should know I'm suffering from acne outbreaks har .. so its time to get things under control .. Time to take care of my face before it's too late ! So followed on to lunch and a short afternoon nap .. Woke up again at 230 pm, rush my way to causeway point to work ! Cold calling ... As for people who are not familar with this activity .. Its actually what u see a group of people standing outside MRT or interchange asking people to do surveys ? haa.. But for my case I'm not using any survey forms liao.. A bit sick of survey forms.. Time to level up myself .. So i just go up to people and talk to them ...? That is my unique way of "cold calling" ! Erm .. effective or not still not sure la.. haa.. Just managed to talked to 3 uncles and 2 teenagers within 1 hour ? Gave my name cards .. and nah ... din get and contacts .. those uncles are just too engross with the conversation regarding other stuff la .. Basically is juz leisure talking .. Complaining about this and that .. haiz.. what to do ? I started the conversation .. so must listen lor .. So after that .. go home change to my casual .. Out to CCK again .. Played pool with moude .. Play until around 930 pm .. How I wish I can have a pool table in my house ... well well , maybe I should stop dreaming and work harder to earn more money .. End of entry !

Alright finally back to blogging .. Being MIA for around 2 years ? Now I'm gonna fill in the big gap from Jan 2005 to March 2007.. After BMT, I was posted to become a Flying Experience Trainee.. Basically did nothing much significant there..Best time was the 2 weeks in Youth Flying Club.. The rest of the time juz slack and wait for results whether I can become a pilot trainee.. I didn't clear the medical, and I got posted back to school of infantry specialist in Pulau Tekong ( Now Pasir Leba Camp ) After my Basic Section Leader Course, I was posted to 42 Singapore Armoured Regiment as a Recce Specialist.. A.K.A Scout Commanders .. Basically another vocation in the support company that provide reconnaissance for the battalion.. I shall not elaborate more .. *classified* Don't want our neighbours in the north to know abt our operations.. =) Anyway, attended bike course , recce commander course .. Quite an experience.. Made some good friends over there.. Esp during RCC, where I realise that I wasn't that "fit" afterall. Road march is already a killer to me during BSLC .. fast march is even worse.. But with encouragements from friends .. Somehow I still manage to complete them .. So it followed on to 2006 .. where we had the main batch of Mono intake coming in for their Basic Military Training.. Nothing much to say about that period of time .. Because we are support company , and because we are scout platoon ..! we got too many specs to take that one platoon.. Our specs to men ration is 1:2 ! Haha.. so it is a period of time where I just cleared my off and book my driving lessons .. Then comes to the trade course .. And by July , the men was sent to School of Military Intelligence for their Scout Platoon Course.. I was posted there to become a store spec and auxillary instructor for 2 weeks .. In 23th Aug I passed my TP .. Then in Sep we flew to Taiwan for training .. kind of lucky , coz I was the "enemy" together with jasper , kim hua , kenneth and richie .. Got many funny stunts happened in ROC .. haha.. Including the "night of horror" in the native aborgines zone..I guess only kim hua and I can understand .. haha.. So back to singapore and I ORD !! To much to share about things that happened in the army .. I guess have to break them down and talk about it some other time .. Feels exceptionally great when the clerk puts on the green sticker " NS Men" on the back of my 11B .. Got bits of flash backs on the happy and lousy days in NS .. But still , time to move on ... So right after I ord , I went back to HK , my home town .. to explore my own culture and people .. to visit my relatives .. Spent 2 weeks there .. Then I'm back .. When I returned to singapore .. I join AIA and work under my shifu .. In march I took my Certified Financial Planner Module 1 .. One of the toughest MCQ I've ever seen .. still waiting for the results.. Hopefully I can pass that .. ! Okie .. thats all for today ..

now i get to appreciate "civilian life" ... humm .. just book out today .. It's a nice feeling to be back home .. facing my computer .. msn .. chatting with old friends .. Life in NS is definitely not easy .. eh .. quite physical demanding .. road march ... run and run ..PT, push ups, pull ups everyday ... eat , bath , sleep .. haa.. very routine la... but the the brighter side of NS life is that everyday we are progressing .. at least we spend time building up our strength , determination and team work .. no time is wasted on unproductive things like watching TV or playing games ...Humm.. I also learn to be responsible of my own actions.. for eg , washing my clothes , packing my locker , cleaning the bunk .. those are basic house keeping .. which i used to push them all to my mom ... now i gotta do them all by myself .. ehh ...still got more to share la .. gotta sleep liao.. its 2330 ... damn sleepy ... continue tmr!

3 more days to tekong .. Kind of sad .. have to say "goodbye" to the care-free life .. These few days I played like siao lohz... Bing came my house on the new year eve .. wah ..play WC3 , Alexander the great (PC)... until quite late la..and then we talked all the way until 7am .. haa... after tt sleep until 1pm .. wake up .. eat.. then go swim .. after swimming ,we went to meet up with chris and go agnes house lohz.. wah .. another crazy day .. played mahjong from 11pm to maybe 8 am?? haha.. and the game speed was damn slow.. just finish one round .. haha.. unbelievable ..went to sleep .. after that .. played little fighter 2 .. haha.. 4 adults squeezed in one small space.. playing little fighter in a single keyboard.. hahaa~ this is crazy !! 4 adults obsessed with a stupid game .. haa.. but tts fun ! =) PC damn laggy ..but we still play .. haa.. agnes keyboard spoil liao la.. bing, chris ,wenhao and me are like pressing the keyboard non stop lohz.. haa.. rain non-stop lohz .. we are all stuck in her house .. haiz.. gotta wait until 6pm like that then go .. after tt go jurong east popular buythis game .. Armies of Exigo ..Bing also bought tt game. .Then chris already got tt game ..we intend to play online multiplayer everytime we book out from BMT.. haha..Anyway , well .. think abt it .. well .. look on the positive side ..at least i got a month to play .. better than those who got enlisted on mid december mah.. haiz I finally "kan kai" a bit liao.. everyone's gotta go NS ... it's just soon or later .. Its 7th NOV! 1 more day to chem paper 3 ! Why am I still here?!! Haiz.. sianz .. Thought of playing gunbound awhile before I sleep .. "de-stress" mah .. Then all left liao.. only me and ivan.. playing half way .. suddenly got this big fat disgusting cockroach on the floor .. wah.. scare me .. then I got this "strong urge" to kill ...*keke* ...immediately left the game.. then wanna kill that stupid thing liao .. wah. then came to realise got no "weapon" .. only got a TYS infront of the table .. cannot leh.. exam period.. cannot use books to kill.. chinese saying mah.. must respect books ...later very suay one leh .. no choice.. must get something else.. so I just stand up and look for something "useable"? .."Shit !" that idiot hide behind the PC !! wah.. I panic liao.. wah.. I got no newspapers leh .. the rest is books and paper liao.. how to kill??? Sianz ah.. see that cockroach hiding behind the PC makes my blood boil.. Graduation Day ! So happy today ! After staying in YJ for 2 and a half years .. I'm like dying to be graduated .. hahaa~ Can't wait to get out of this "stressful" lifestyle lohz .. But think abt it also a bit she bu de leh.. Cos afterall got some feelings for YJ .. The school , library , the benches outside library ,class room , friends and teachers.. Oh yah.. That's just terrible... pity him...sadly but true la, that's the cruelty of mass media.. haiz.. anyway..talking back abt my studies.. not bad.. did quite a lot today ! *well at least better than last time* haha.. at least now I can proudly say that I'm working hard ! hahaa.. but still not enough... 3 more weeks to As! Hurray !After hours of struggling..Tring to recall those "basic" web publishing skill that I've learnt during sec2..And some help from my friends and the internet..I've finally created a rather "decent" blog.. haaa..Went tuition in the afternoons..Sianz..*Hwa Chong girl sit so far today..*Got home never study..eat dinner..watch tv..then exercise..Just now I tried doing a front flip..wah..my feet just landed on the floor in a "squatting" position..Just a second late and I'll be landing on my back.. Err..think abt it also quite scary..Next time I better try it again on the school's soft mattress..I guess long time never practise liao..cannot flip like last time..haiz =( Anyway ,I think I better sleep liao..!

I got back my results .. Did quite badly for my prelims .. Haiz .. quite sad actually .. especially when you see your classmates passing with flying colours .. I hope I'll never experience that kind of "feeling" again ..Not in A'level results day .. It's terrible .. Hum .. oh yah .. I think the only thing I can be happy about is my cca points .. Too bad it's just 5 % of my University Entrance .. Think abt it .. 5% is still very little lohz .. But don't care lar .. Still got a month to go .. A bit late for miracles to happen .. But there's still a hope for miracles .. Today did revision physics then do GP essay outline.. But then somehow i still think that my pace is rather slow leh .. EErrr ... nvm... no excuse ! I'll do more tmr ! After my A'levels I going to do things some silly and crazy things that I've never tried before .. Going to wander around the streets .. Sleep under HDB .. Brush my teeth in swimming pool toilets.. Play guitar on a bus .. Play harmonica along the beach .. Enjoying sun set ..Learn to sail a yacht .. A lot la.. Too many things to do after As .. No more nagging from parents ... No more "Baboon" ..lol *sorry, only my class pple know this *.. complete control of my life .. I can only describe that as "a stray dog on the streets " Not something very glorious ... but AT LEAST better than those dogs that have good food, shelter ... but no freedom ... Thats my thoughts la .. Although different pple have different views .. Anyway time to rest ... Shall talk more abt my thoughts of freedom in the next episode ...
